This urban planning and design studio publication is a culmination of the efforts of eleven GSD international students working in close collaboration with each other, with a California and a New York City practitioner, and with city officials, state officials, select private enterprise and residents of Honolulu, Hawai'i.
The collective goal--to envision and further the discussion on alternative possibilities for a 630-acre parcel of post-industrial land located in the heart of the urban core of Honolulu that was overlooked during the state's last growth period.
