Mr. Kallman is a Partner in Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. As Planning Director, Mr. Kallman is responsible for all urban and regional planning studies undertaken by SOM London’s Planning Studio, and planning issues in respect of all architectural projects. His work encompasses land planning, urban design, transportation planning, new town and campus planning, feasibility studies, environmental assessments, historic preservation and adaptive re-use studies.

He has had extensive experience in the master planning of large-scale developments both in urban and countryside settings. He has recently completed the preparation of the regeneration strategy for Liverpool City Centre.

Previously he was the resident SOM representative for the Dublin Transportation Centre study. Subsequently he spent two and one half years in Cork leading preparation of the Greater Cork Area Land/Use/Transportation Plan. This project established the framework for future growth in the southwest region of Ireland and guided coordination of the capital development programs of seven national and local government agencies.
