SEAN O'LAOIRE, B.Arch. (University College of Dublin), M.Arch. (UCLA)
A past Vice President of the RIAI, he has been responsible for a number of award winning architectural projects including the Civic Park at Arthur's Quay Limerick, winner of the prestigious Triennial Gold Medal from the RIAI in 1995 and the Irish Pavilion at Expo 2000 at Hanover, Germany. He has also been project leader on a wide range of planning and urban design projects, many of which have been rewarded with national and international awards including the prestigious R.T.P.I. Award for City Centre Development. Sean O’Laoire has served as a committee member
of the Architectural Association of Ireland. He has extensively written
and lectured in Ireland, England, France and Canada, and has contributed
to film and television documentaries.
