Licenses and installation media for this program are provided by the GSD.
To use network-licensed software you are required to be on the GSD network, either with a network cable, on the HarvardSecure wireless signal, or logged into VPN while working remotely.
The installation files for this program are on the GSD file server (GSDServer) under the Software folder
When installing any software on GSDServer, you should first download the installer to your desktop – installing software from Goliath over VPN is not recommended.
To begin the installation, double-click on the RealFlow executable in the RealFlow folder.
Accept the default settings and the installation should complete in a few minutes.
Once completed, launch RealFlow from the shortcut on your desktop.
The software may launch automatically, however if you are prompted to license the software choose:
I have a floating license already installed and am running it on an RLM license server
And enter this information:
License server: ectoplasm.design.harvard.edu
Port Number: 49251
If after following these steps RealFlow says that it cannot create a license, try creating an Environment Variable with the license information instead:
Right-click on Computer and select Properties
Click on Advanced System Settings and select Environment Variables
Under System Variables select New and enter:
Variable Name: nextlimit_LICENSE
Variable Value: firstname.lastname@example.org
Then click Ok, close the dialog boxes and try relaunching RealFlow
