Commentary
Pete Tuck's discography lists nine Man singles. This is the only one I
have. This is a live version of Bananas recorded at the same concert as
'Back Into The Future' but released three years later, about the time the
band left United Artists. Unfortunately, since 'Back Into The Future' fit
nicely on a single CD, so there was no room to include this 15:41 bonus
cut. It would be nice to see this on CD, if only to eliminate the annoying
fade out and fade in when you have to flip the record over (I was able
copy this onto a cassette and paste the two sides together seamlessly).
There is sufficient legitimate live Man material in the UA vaults (from
Greasy Truckers, Christmas at the Patti, Live at the Padget Rooms, and
live cuts as B-sides) to fill an excellent 2 CD set.
