Eve Blau Delivered Inaugural Woodruff Memorial Lecture at Yale SOA

Adjunct Professor of the History of Urban Form Eve Blau delivered the inaugural George Morris Woodruff, Class of 1857, Memorial Lecture at Yale University on Februray 23, 2012 entitled Transparency + Architecture: Between Information + Experience
The Woodruff lecture series was founded through a bequest by Professor H. Allen Brooks (Yale MA ’55) in honor of his great grandfather. Al Brooks devoted much of his scholarly life to studying Le Corbusier’s early career. The Woodruff lecture series brings speakers on Architecture since 1800 or on the “psychological importance of architecture and the built environment to the quality of our everyday life.”
