Jorge Silvetti (professor of architecture) has released La Nueva Villa Getty detailing the 12-year expansion and transformation of the Getty Villa in Malibu by Machado and Silvetti Associates. Co-authored by Conrad Ello (MArch ‘94) and introduced by Francisco Mangado, the richly illustrated account offers a comprehensive graphic record of the project’s complex components and scales.
The monograph, available in Spanish only, will be presented to the public in Madrid by Rafael Moneo (professor of architecture), Francisco Mangado and El Pais critic Luis Fernandez Galiano on June 6th at the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid.
