Michael Ezban in conversation with Charles Waldheim

Michael Ezban (MLA ’13) has been named the 2014 Maeder-York Family Fellow in Landscape Studies at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, MA. On June 12, he will present his recent research and design work at a public lecture titled “Michael Ezban in Conversation with Charles Waldheim.” The lecture will begin at 7 p.m. in Calderwood Hall at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

Michael holds a Master in Landscape Architecture with distinction from the Harvard Graduate School of Design where he received the 2013 Charles Eliot Traveling Fellowship. His writing and design work explores ‘cultures of waste’—economies and ecologies entangled with waste landscapes. He is a principal at Vandergoot Ezban Studio, a research and design practice based in Silver Spring, Maryland, where he teaches architecture at the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation.
