Orientation for incoming students will take place August 26-August 30, 2019.  Orientation is mandatory for all incoming students.

Some required departmental workshops will be scheduled on August 31 and September 1, so students should plan on being available that weekend as well. Details will be communicated by your department.

Prior to Orientation
All students are required to provide their own laptops. Please see Computer Resources for general information and the Student Technology Guide with more details.

International Students
Once you arrive, please remember to check in with the Harvard International Office (HIO) before coming to International Orientation. Your ability to register for courses will be blocked until we get clearance from the HIO.

Terms of Enrollment
All requirements must be completed prior to orientation in order to have clearance to register. This means that we must have official copies of transcripts showing your degree and date received; any required courses such as calculus, physics, history, visual arts, history of the built environment, and environmental science must be completed and transcripts received; pre-term workshops attended; immunization records received; and so on. If you are unclear about any of the requirements listed on your application status page, please do not hesitate to contact us!
