Gund 516 (Jan 9 class will be held in 518)
Methods unique to color 3D printing will be explored for architecture and urban planning via informative presentations, discussion of completed projects and by working together to develop each student\’s unique work flow, tailored to a particular source format and incorporating final objectives. The resulting physical output for color 3D printing calls for unique considerations in order to achieve quality results. This will be demonstrated via professionally completed works and also applied individually for student projects. Access to color 3DP output will be facilitated in off campus locations by the instructor. Both principle materials for color 3D printing; composite powder and paper, will be explored.
