Visualizing Information
This seminar explores how information can be presented visually on the Internet and provides a broad understanding of the visualization of different types of information. By establishing a relationship between theories in architecture and information architecture, the seminar stresses the universal aspects of architectural thinking. Introduction to CGI-scripting and database programming for the World Wide Web allows the students to create dynamic two-dimensional and three-dimensional visualizations of actual data. Online collaboration and peer-to-peer learning are important parts of the course concept.
