Acoustics Lecture by Ben Markham

This lecture will “bring to life” fundamental design concepts in architectural acoustics that are often unintuitive or misunderstood.  The lecture will introduce topics in architectural acoustics in the context of the presenter’s professional work, including spaces for performance, athletics, the arts, and other functions.  He will illustrate concepts using acoustical modeling results and auralizations (acoustical simulations).  Acoustical simulation technology and techniques will be discussed and demonstrated.
