Animation GSD and Women in Design: Sandy McLeod, “Seeds of Time” film screening and discussion
Please join us for a screening of Sandy McLeod’s “Seeds of Time.” The event will feature a panel discussion with filmmaker Sandy McLeod, who is widely known for her commercial music videos (Bruce Springsteen, Talking Heads). She started her work on “Seeds of Time” after reading John Seabrook’s 2007 New Yorker profile of agriculture pioneer Cary Fowler, then the director of the Global Crop Diversity Trust. “Seeds of Time” follows Fowler’s global journey to save the eroding foundation of our food supply in a new era of climate change. The screening is presented by Animation GSD and Women in Design at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
