City Makers in China: Liew Mun Leong, CapitaLand

CapitaLand is one of the largest real estate companies in Asia. Its leading real estate business spans across 20 countries in 110 cities, with demonstrated track record in residential homes, shopping malls, offices, serviced residences, self-storage, mixed developments and new town development. It has built complete value-chain competency from investment, development, operation and asset management. It manages real estate funds with total AUM of about US$30 billion.
CapitaLand entered the Chinese market in 1994 and today operates in more than 45 cities in China, with total project commitments in China of about US$22 billion. CapitaLand is one of the largest foreign real estate investor and developer in China.
Liew Mun Leong has been President and CEO of CapitaLand since its formation in 2000.
