Grounded Visionaries Design Weekend + Campaign Launch

The GSD invites you to join Dean Mohsen Mostafavi and guests for an inspiring series of conversations and events celebrating design on September 12+13, 2014 in Cambridge.

During this weekend we will not only celebrate design and the GSD’s impact in the world, but also give you a chance to reconnect with classmates, colleagues, faculty, and others. The Grounded Visionaries weekend kicks off on Friday as Harvard GSD Dean Mohsen Mostafavi, Harvard University President Drew Gilpin Faust, and other featured speakers engage with an audience of faculty, students, and alumni. Design Dialogues occurs throughout Saturday, and Fumihiko Maki MArch ‘54, GSA ‘56, shares a look back at his stellar 60-year career as an architect Saturday night. We will close out the evening with a design-forward party in Gund Hall’s “back yard” where you can meet friends old and new, listen to great music, and enjoy a generous offering of food and libations.

Whether you’re a graduate or a friend of the School, we hope to see you on campus September 12+13 for a look at the GSD today and tomorrow!

To be part of this special design weekend, please register online or visit the Grounded Visionaries campaign website at GroundedVisionaries.org. For a complete view of the events, speakers, program updates, hotel blocks, directions and more, please view a PDF of event details here.
