GSD Art Screening: Ian Giles, Connected Works

This screening brings together selected short film and video works by the emerging British artist Ian Giles. His recent films explore how human relations create an energy as palpable as traditional sculptural material, which can be collected and negotiated through time based media.

Ian’s films have been shown internationally at galleries including: Chisenhale Gallery, London; Glasgow International Festival; Jessica Silverman Gallery, San Francisco and Tate Britain, London. He received his MFA from the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London, 2012 and was LUX Associate Artist 2012/13.
