MDes Real Estate and the Built Environment Lecture: Re:Designing Real Estate
The Harvard GSD MDes Real Estate and the Built Environment presents RE:DESIGNING REAL ESTATE that critically investigates the innovative strategies to navigate the new challenges faced by real estate industry in the contemporary age of urban evolution fueled by re-urbanization, disruptive practices and economic trends in Asia.
Learn from industry experts who will present their perspectives on how design drives the progression of the contemporary built environment in Asia and share their insights on business models for international and local real estate developments and investments as well as cross border transactions.
With the Introduction by Prof. Bing Wang, the event will focus on:
- Impacts of dynamic trends of capital flow on physical environment
- New niche markets, particularly Transit-Oriented Developments (TODs), across urbanizing cities in China
- Innovative strategies for joint ventures between international capital and local development practice
