Tod Williams and Billie Tsien
Acclaimed for decades for their insightful work, Tod Williams Billie Tsien Architects have designed dormitories, scientific laboratories, libraries, swimming pools, performing arts centers, and museums—including the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, which opened in 2012 and is the subject of their most recent book. Current projects include an information technology campus in Mumbai, India, two new skating rinks for Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, the Andlinger Center for Energy and the Environment at Princeton University, and the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. The firm’s numerous honors include the 2013 AIA National Firm Award. Tod Williams and Billie Tsien are the 2012–2013 Senior Loeb Scholars.
