The goal of Information Technologies is to provide a robust, heterogeneous, multi-platform, ubiquitous, distributed computing environment to support design computing at every level. We strive to maintain an environment in which information technology is available and easily accessible to serve all the members of the GSD community. GSD-IT provides a variety of services to students for required course work and independent study, as well as staff, faculty, and visitors for work and research.
The Help Desk is an Information Technology Service provided to GSD students, faculty, staff, and researchers. We try to make it easy to use computing resources, find help, and report problems. The quality and productivity of the computing environment at the GSD is our concern, but to a very large degree, it is a shared responsibility that depends on the contributions of all users.

Our response time is based on a variety of factors including volume, urgency, and the order in which tickets are received. Response time for email and voice mail is generally within 24 hours.
