A variety of students loans are available to students to pay for their education at the GSD.

Federal loans are available for U.S. citizens and permanent residents through the U.S. Federal Direct Loan Program.  The Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan and the Federal Direct GradPlus Loan are the two federal loan options.  Interest rates and fees are set yearly.

Additional loans options, often referred to as private or alternative loans, are available for both U.S. and international students.  Harvard University maintains a listing of private loan options for students to choose from. Loans options may be limited due to a student's borrowing strength, partnership with a U.S. cosigner, as well as country of citizenship.

Those who are interested should apply through the Financial Aid Office.
