David Theodore, who is completing a combined PhD at Harvard University in architecture and history of science, will join McGill University on August 1, 2014, where he will coordinate their M1 studios. Theodore’s dissertation is titled Hospitalizing the Computer: Biomedicine, Architecture, Computation and examines how medical and architectural practice both responded to and drove the ascendance of computer culture.
