A new student publication is testing the epistolary form as a device for generating conversations about architecture and design. Launched in September 2013, each issue of Open Letters presents one letter addressed to a particular party, but intended for publication, about any topic relating to the design disciplines.
Open Letters invites original submissions from correspondents both inside and outside the Harvard Graduate School of Design and enthusiastically encourages liberal interpretations of the submission framework. For submission guidelines and back issues, visit the Open Letters website.
The publication, which recently completed a successful Kickstarter campaign, also has been featured in ArchDaily.
