Arielle Assouline-Lichten a partner in OfficeUS

The American Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale walks and talks like a functioning architectural firm because that’s what it is, with real partners and real projects. Among the principals selected to participate in “OfficeUS” is Arielle Assouline-Lichten (MArch ’13), co-founder of Slash Projects, a multi-disciplinary design firm based in Brooklyn, NY.

Assouline-Lichten is known at the GSD and in the architectural world as co-instigator with Caroline James (MArch 14) of the campaign seeking retroactive recognition of Denise Scott Brown by the Pritzker Prize committee. Over the next few months she and her OfficeUS partners will work with visiting experts and outpost offices around the world to reconsider the projects exhibited in the pavilion and to construct an agenda for the future of architecture.
