Faculty top ASLA “Best Books of 2014” list

The American Society of Landscape Architects recently published their annual “Best Books” list—with this year’s top 10 featuring two significant works by Harvard University Graduate School of Design professors.

Included was John E. Irving Professor of Landscape Architecture and Chair of the Department of Landscape Architecture Charles Waldheim and lecturer in landscape architecture Andrea Hansen‘s coedited volume Composite Landscapes: Photomontage and Landscape Architecture—which was released in conjunction with the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum exhibition the two curated.

Additionally, Projective Ecologies, coedited by associate professor in practice of landscape architecture Chris Reed and Nina-Marie Lister, published by the GSD, was featured as well—and highly praised by the ASLA in their review.
