The GSD awarded 324 degrees to its Class of 2015 during Harvard’s 364th Commencement on Thursday, May 28. For the second year in a row, the diploma-awarding ceremony was held outside, in Gund Hall’s back yard.

In addition to presenting degrees in the School’s Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Planning & Design, Design Studies, and Doctoral Programs, the GSD announced winners of a series of awards and prizes and awarded certificates to the 2014–2015 Loeb Fellows

The Class of 2015 comprises 313 graduates, with 11 earning dual degrees. Nearly half of the class is international, with 38 nations represented.

“This graduating class, through the quality of their designs, their scholarship, and their engagement, will help improve and transform society,” said dean and Alexander and Victoria Wiley Professor of Design Mohsen Mostafavi in his address. “Each of you possesses the knowledge, the imagination, and the capacity to reshape your respective fields of learning and through that process the physical environment.”
