“Parks and Parks: What Works, What Doesnt” A Talk by Peter Harnik, Director of the Center for City Park Excellence at the Trust for Public Land

Having studied venerable showpieces like New York’s Central Park and the Boston Common, and new spectacles like Chicago’s Millenium Park, Houston’s Discovery Green, the St. Louis City Garden, and New York’s High Line, Peter Harnik of the Center for City Park Excellence has both positive and negative lessons to discuss.  Join him for his lecture on the national experience as well as a conversation about the strengths, weaknesses, and future of the Boston park system.
