Alice Swan (she/they) is a higher education and nonprofit professional whose work spans university administration, community-based organizations, and corporate environments. They earned a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University, where they double-majored in Government and East Asian Studies and minored in African American Studies. Their academic work explored identity, culture, political economy, public policy, and institutional structures. Alice completed a Master of Education in Education Policy and Analysis at Harvard University Graduate School of Education. Their work is grounded in a commitment to expanding opportunity, strengthening communities, and helping institutions create meaningful, lasting change.

Alice currently serves as the Administrative and Program Coordinator for the Office of Community, Impact, and Opportunity at Harvard Graduate School of Design. In this role, they lead initiatives related to digital accessibility, inclusive engagement, curriculum development, community programming, and organizational learning. They use data and participant feedback to guide program improvement, maintain accessible online resources, and support efforts focused on community and institutional change.

Across more than a decade of professional and community-based work, Alice has supported students, educators, administrators, nonprofit leaders, and community members through program development, relationship-building, training, fundraising, and organizational planning. Through this work, they continue to build stronger systems, expand access to opportunity, and help organizations translate their values into meaningful action.
