Leaves/Withdrawals and Tuition Charges

The deadline to petition for a leave of absence for the fall semester is May 1.

November 1 is the deadline for submitting leave petitions for the spring semester.

Any student who is granted an exceptional leave or withdraws from the university after the semester begins will be held responsible for tuition charges according to the following schedule:

Fall 2024 Term

Leaves on or before September 17: no tuition charge
Leaves on or before October 9: one-fourth tuition charge
Leaves on or before November 7: one-half tuition charge
Leaves on or before December 5: three-fourths tuition charge
After December 5: full tuition charge

Spring 2025 Term

Leaves on or before February 10: no tuition charge
Leaves on or before February 28: one-fourth tuition charge
Leaves on or before March 21: one-half tuition charge
Leaves on or before April 28: three-fourths tuition charge
After April 28: full tuition charge
