Although the GSD does not have an official tool for managing office hours, here are two options we recommend for instructors.

Canvas Schedular

Course instructors can use the Scheduling Tool within Canvas to publish office hours for students enrolled in their course.  Once the office hours are published, Students can select the “Find Appointments” button to view their instructor’s availability and make an appointment. This option is customizable and works very well for course members but cannot be used by people who are not members of your course.

Microsoft Bookings

Microsoft Bookings is a customizable, online scheduling tool. The strength of this tool is the integration with Microsoft Outlook calendar which allows users to leverage their existing free/busy time.  Here’s a brief video that demonstrates how you can set up Bookings to meet your needs.
