Description

The Takenaka Corporation, one of Japan’s leading full-service design and construction firms, offers a three-month summer internship (from approximately June 1-August 31) in the Architectural Design division of its Tokyo headquarters. Interns will participate in collaborative design teams working on institutional, commercial, and/or residential design projects; visits to construction sites, research labs, and other Takenaka facilities are activities included in the internship.

Stipend

Dormitory housing, daily commuting expense, and a monthly stipend of ¥150,000 are provided for the duration of the intern’s stay in Tokyo.

Eligibility

Eligibility for the Takenaka Summer Internship is limited to continuing (non-graduating) students in the GSD’s MArch I and MArch II programs.
