To research Modern Man: The Life of Le Corbusier, Architect of Tomorrow, Anthony Flint (LF ’01) haunted the Loeb Library Special Collections for 2 years. The book, to be released on November 4, details the architect's lessons for the urban centers of the 21st century. Flint’s book tour includes several Boston-area appearances in the coming months. This past weekend, associate professor of Landscape Architecture Peter Del Tredici and Teri Rueb (PhD '11)—the latter the 2012–13 metaLAB artist in residence—released their "Other Order" app, which tours visitors to the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University in Jamaica Plain.
The Social Agency Lab is a multidisciplinary research group. Its mission is to study “the way in which individuals, institutions and organizations shape social outcomes in cities.” It features work done by research assistants and students who are conducting a thesis.
