Architecture Financial Aid Funds
Established in 2010 through a bequest from Mario Joseph Ciampi (GSD ’33), the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program.
Established in 1999 in honor of Katherine G. Farley (MArch ’76), the fellowship provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program, with a preference for women.
Established in 2020 through a bequest from Dr. Harold C. Spear (MD ’47) and Suzanne Spear in honor of their granddaughter, Marisa Fort (MArch ’06), the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program who are from Florida.
Established in 1989 by family and friends in memory of Henry Browne Hoover (MArch 1926), the fellowship provides financial aid for GSD students whose area of study is in residential architecture.
Established in 1961 by Abby MacDougall White Howells in memory of her husband, John Mead Howells (AB 1891), the fellowship provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program.
Established in 1974 through a bequest from Elizabeth Cushing Iselin in memory of her husband, William O’Donnell Iselin, the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program.
Established in 1972 through a bequest from Elizabeth Barr Kayser in memory of her brother, George Barr Kayser (AB 1914, MArch 1917), the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program.
Established in 1935 through a bequest from Edward H. Kendall (COL 1902), the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program.
Established in 1994 through a bequest from Louise Leland, Kentucky’s first female architect, the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program, with a preference for women.
Established in 2007 by Lynn C. Schneider (MArch ’77) in honor of Brenda A. Levin (MArch ’76), the fund provides financial aid for GSD students whose area of study is in architecture and real estate, with a preference for women.
Established in 1944 through a bequest from Frances E. Markoe in memory of her son, Stephen C. Markoe, the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program.
Established in 1966 through a bequest from C. William Palmer, the fellowship provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program.
Established in 2017 by Leon Drachman (MAUD ’93) and Kevin Sullivan (MArch ’94) in honor of Thomas Payette (MArch ’60), the founder of Payette Associates, the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture or Master of Architecture in Urban Design programs.
Established in 1962 through a bequest from Alexander Phillips, the fund provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture program.
Established in 2013 by the family of David Kenneth Specter (AB ’52, MArch ’58) in his memory, the fellowship provides financial aid for GSD students in the Master of Architecture I program who aim to study contemporary urbanism from an international perspective.
