The Dreams of Others: 60 Years of Spanish Architecture
NYC GSD alumni were invited to the screening of The Dreams of Others: 60 Years of Spanish Architecture. The film presents a critical look at the evolution of Spanish architecture in the last 60 years and features the participation of Carme Pinós, RCR Arquitectes, Luis Fernández Galiano, and Pau de Solà-Morales (MDes ’97, DDes ’00), among others. Through telling this story about the last six decades of Spanish architecture and interior design, the film presents a critical reflection on the role of architecture and architects in society, how the figure of the architect has evolved, and where it might be headed in the future.
