Fauzia is Associate Professor at Temple University and Program Head of Architecture, Facilities Management & Historic Preservation. Her teaching includes studios focused on resilience during extreme heat and studios centered on communities disproportionately affected by pollution.

Fauzia is principal at Sadiq Garcia Design, a design practice that explores diverse modes of fabrication for custom products to creative design solutions. She brings several decades of professional experience from firms along the East Coast, contributing to high-profile international projects and award-winning national projects. Fauzia serves on the GSD Alumni Council, Board of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Philadelphia, and Editorial Board of the AIA Philadelphia Context Journal.

Fauzia looks forward to strengthening alumni engagement and student support through initiatives such as Design Impact and GSD Connect Career.
