Join GSD alumni and friends in the Southeast for an informal gathering to recognize the enduring impact of Mack Scogin and Merrill Elam on the GSD community.

Sponsored by the GSD Alumni Council and hosted at the newly opened Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, we will come together to tour and celebrate the opening of MSME’s latest project.

Alongside MOCA GA Director Annette Cone-Skelton, GSD alumni spanning multiple generations will deliver welcome remarks. David Yocum MArch ’97, Brian Bell MArch ’97, Jennifer Pindyck MArch ’02, Nora Yoo MArch ’10, and Jade Yang MArch ’11 will pay tribute and give thanks to Mack and Merrill and their indelible influence as educators, practitioners, and visionaries in the field.

Refreshments will be served. Paid parking is available on the Goat Farm Arts Center campus. Please RSVP by Wednesday, November 11, 2026.

This event is planned in coordination with a lecture event the following day. Dean Sarah M. Whiting will speak at Kennesaw State University on Monday, November 16. Reach out to Jade Yang for further details and questions.

Special thanks to Jade Yang and Nora Yoo for organizing.
