Who we are
Harvard GSD offers a comprehensive set of career programs designed to help students throughout their time at the school (and beyond). We offer individual advising, experiential programs, career workshops, and special events throughout the year.
We are a team of three professionals:
Meryl Golden, Director of Career Services
Meryl manages the Community Service Fellowship Program, comprising Domestic Summer Internships and International Travel Grants; she also manages the Paul M. Heffernan International Travel Award. She serves as the Architect Licensing Advisor for GSD students and provides information on the Intern Development Program. Meryl meets individually with students on career development and job search strategy.
Meridith Apfelbaum, Career Services Counselor
Meridith provides career services for GSD students, with a special emphasis on working with students in the department of Urban Planning and Design and the Master in Design Studies Program. She facilitates a number of career workshops and meets individually with students to maximize their career opportunities.
Anne Creamer, Career Services Coordinator
Anne is the primary contact for employers posting internship and job opportunities; manages our career management system, CREATE; coordinates on campus recruiting and career fairs. She also meets with students on recruiting questions and utilizing CREATE.
Career Services is located on the fourth floor of Gund Hall, in the Student Services suite.
