Chloe Redmond Warner (MArch ’05) has published her debut book, This Must Be the Place: Homes with Atmosphere (Abrams, May 2026).

Warner is the founder and principal of Redmond Aldrich Design. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, the New York Times, and beyond.
This Must Be the Place explores how to design a home with personality, layered with color, pattern, and unexpected touches that are unmistakably personal. Drawing on her background in architecture, Warner infuses her designs with wit, charm, and mischief to create interiors that feel both refined and unexpected.

With a foreword by AD100 designer Heidi Callier, who describes the book as “a fierce defense of interior design as worthy as architecture and art, and a gentle manifesto on how to tend to your own atmosphere,” This Must Be the Place combines playlists, pop-culture references, and photography to showcase Warner’s personality and aesthetic.
