Financial Aid Open to all programs or multiple areas
Established in 2007 by members of the GSD Alumni Council in honor of Alan Altshuler, Ruth and Frank Stanton Professor Emeritus in Urban Policy and Planning and former dean of the GSD, the fund provides financial aid for GSD students.
Established in 2012 by the Baldwin family through the Lamb-Baldwin Foundation in honor of Gregory S. Baldwin (AB ’62, MArch ’66, MAUD ’67), the fellowship provides financial assistance for a top-performing GSD student enrolled in the final semester of study in the Department of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or Urban Planning and Design.
Established in 1958 through a bequest from Marie Beale in memory of her late husband’s son, Walker Beale (AB 1918), the fund provides financial aid for GSD students.
Established in 2023 by William S. Ehrlich (BArch ’67), the fellowship provides financial aid for GSD students.

Established by Joel Heisey (MAUD ’91, MPA ’91), the fellowship provides financial aid for GSD students, with first priority of opening access and expanding opportunities for underrepresented members of the GSD community, second priority for first-generation graduate school students, and a third priority for students enrolled in the Master of Architecture in Urban Design, Master in Urban Planning, and joint or concurrent degree programs within the Master of Architecture program (with particular interest in joint degree programs with the Harvard Kennedy School).
Established in 2017 through a bequest from Robert P. Hubbard (COL ’51), the fellowship supports GSD students who are graduates of Harvard College, from New Hampshire, and/or enrolled in the Master of Architecture program.
