Shant Charoian (MArch ’23) has launched LINE Armenian Architecture Biennial , the country’s first architectural platform and festival, in Yerevan, Armenia. Founded in 2024 through his NGO Jardar , LINE is a nomadic, month-long festival that reimagines Armenia’s urban landscape through public art installations, exhibitions, and workshops. The biennial brings together local and international architects, designers, and communities to explore contemporary design, sustainability, and heritage preservation under the theme “Up in the Air.”
“I’m thrilled to create a space that connects Armenia’s architectural heritage with forward-looking design thinking, inspiring both local and global dialogue,” says Charoian.
