Dana Cho is the Vice President of Design at Pinterest, where she leads design across one of the world’s most beloved discovery platforms, helping over 500 million people around the globe find inspiration and bring ideas to life. With over 25 years of experience at the intersection of design, business, and technology, Dana is known for championing human-centered innovation that creates long-term value for both users and organizations.

Before joining Pinterest, Dana served as Chief Design Officer at Verily, an Alphabet company focused on transforming healthcare. There, she embedded design deeply across the company’s ecosystem—spanning software, hardware, and services—while helping evolve Verily’s product portfolio to deliver meaningful impact at scale. Prior to that, she led UX and research for Google Search, shaping experiences for over a billion users.

Dana is passionate about building creative cultures and believes a dynamic, open culture is a leading indicator for wildly successful products and companies that are built to last. She is an executive leader with experience building and managing large, high-performing business units, launching award-winning products, and working alongside visionary CEOs to transform entire organizations. She has been featured in Fast Company, Core 77, PSFK, and Rotman Magazine. Dana currently serves on the advisory board for Stanford’s Center for Digital Health, the Dean’s Council for the Harvard Graduate School of Design, and Harvard’s Master’s in Design Engineering program. She has also taught and lectured at California College of Arts, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and various conferences.
