As Principal of Nurbs Design in Bangalore, India, Naksha Satish leads a second-generation practice working across architecture, urban design, planning, and design technology. Her work spans scales and contexts—from housing and educational campuses to cultural institutions and regional planning—and is shaped by a commitment to connecting global design knowledge with local realities. At Nurbs, she explores the evolving role of technology in design, leveraging it alongside interdisciplinary thinking to unlock value and create meaningful impact through the built environment. She is particularly interested in how design leadership can expand access, strengthen communities, and create meaningful connections between institutions, practitioners, and emerging designers.

As part of the GSD Alumni Council, Naksha hopes to convene alumni across geographies, disciplines, and generations, strengthening alumni engagement across South Asia and supporting mentorship initiatives between students and recent graduates.
