Oana Stănescu is a Romanian architect who is building, writing, and teaching. Her work is an undisciplined collection of projects across scales, programs, and collaborators, pursuing the affect of physical spaces. She is based in New York and Berlin, and current projects under construction include the reconversion of a ½ km long elevated structure in Reșița, Romania, a long house in Canada, and an installation for a music festival. She is teaching at Harvard GSD and MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.
