GSD Grant Aid

Grants (sometimes referred to as scholarships or fellowships) are financial awards given to a student to help defray the cost of their education.

  • These awards do not need to be repaid.
  • The majority of the grant aid offered by the GSD is need-based.
  • Aside from need, eligibility for some awards may also be determined based on other factors including academic program, merit, and fund availability.

All financial aid at the GSD is administered by the Financial Aid Office.

Funding your program

University-wide Scholarships (CGS)

The Harvard University Committee on General Scholarships (CGS) administers various university-wide scholarship funds both for US and international students.

Outside Scholarships

The GSD maintains a list of outside scholarships and funding opportunities that GSD applicants may qualify for. Be sure to review each application timeline and requirements as they may differ from our own.
