He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Andrews University (‘11) and a Master of Urban Planning degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (‘15).
He is currently the Design Studio Manager at Envision Resilience – a philanthropic organization that works to advance innovative planning and design in the face of climate change through student and community partnerships – where he manages and curates the annual Envision Resilience Challenge, a multi-university, interdisciplinary, place-based design studio in partnership with academic institutions, municipal and regional leaders, community stakeholders, and creative partners.
