Adriana collaborated on the fifth installment of the Design Impact series, specifically Global Gardens, focusing on Latin America. Adriana connected with GSD Alumni in the region to portray the richness of Latin America’s natural assets, the role they play globally and regionally, showcasing alumni work and their involvement with communities, landscape, mobility (physical and social), and overall social impact. Questions were centered on the value of regions in transition as fertile grounds for innovation, with special emphasis on cultivating and safeguarding cultural knowledge as a tool for design innovation, sustainability, equity, inclusion, and justice.

As a member of the GSD Alumni Council, Adriana has served as a mentor and former co-chair of Design Impact, in addition to her service as former president of the Harvard Club of Mexico.

She was the project designer and project architect for the sustainable beach house Puerto Escondido, a refurbishment of a 1920s house/art gallery in Condesa, Mexico City. She has worked in governance and finance as a metropolitan development consultant for the Valley of Toluca, State of Mexico, project coordinator for the St Regis Hotel and Residences, Mexico City, and in collaboration with PCP Design Architects, YabuPushelberg Interior Design Firm, Starwood Hotels Luxury Brand, and Ownership. Adriana has contributed to the new governing alignment for the Mexican Association of Urban Planners (AMU) and is the former VP of Legislation and Governance.
