Masked people play board games in the Pit.
For their first assignment, students in the option studio "Highways Revisited" made fully-playable board games about the politics of highway building. Reviewers got a chance to play the games at an informative (and fun!) review in the Pit.⁣⁣

While the MUP program at the GSD is by no means defined by its numbers, metrics can help illustrate the strengths of the program. We expect to add to the information on this page, so check back if you don’t see your question answered here.

Student Achievement
We look at a 3-year average of graduate satisfaction. A 2025 survey of MUP alumni graduating one year previously found 85% were pleased or very pleased with their planning education at the GSD. Alumni surveyed from the classes of 2023 and 2022 were 97% pleased or very pleased with their education. For those surveyed in 2025, 2024, and 2023 who had graduated 5-years previously, 97% were pleased or very pleased with their education. The MUP program surveys alumni from two time periods each year—1 year out and 5 years out.
