Benita Cooper (MArch ’05), founder and principal of Benita Cooper Design, continues to gain recognition for her work in residential and commercial architecture.
In 2026, Cooper was named an NJBIZ Leader in Real Estate, Construction and Design and selected as one of South Jersey’s 40 Fabulous Females. In 2025, she was honored as a Woman of Influence by the Philadelphia Business Journal and as a Woman of Excellence by SJ Magazine. Her firm, Benita Cooper Design, also received four First Place Awards from the American Society of Interior Designers. Based in Haddonfield, NJ, the practice focuses on integrated design, bringing together architecture, interiors, and custom fabrication.
