Lizzie Kripke (MArch ’25) co-founded Ministry of Awe (MoA), an immersive art institution that opened in March 2026, earning a spotlight in the New York Times. The adaptive reuse project resurrects a 19th-century bank building in Philadelphia’s historic Old City district, reimagining it as a maximalist, absurdist bank of the human experience.

Alongside executive founder Meg Saligman and co-founder Lynn Saligman, over 100 artists and designers contributed to its creation, among them fellow GSD alumni Paris Bezanis (MArch ’25), Robert Walker (MArch ’25), and Jeannelle Fernandez (MArch ’25). Prior to co-founding MoA, Kripke served as Art Department Head at Meow Wolf.
