Ryan Culligan (MArch ’09) has been promoted to Design Partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM). Over the past decade, Ryan has led the design of major projects including 400 Lake Shore Drive in Chicago, Concourse D at O’Hare International Airport, and large-scale developments in Atlanta, Nashville, and Bangkok.
A leader in establishing SOM’s new Austin office, Ryan is now focused on civic, healthcare, and education projects across the Midwest and South, including a new building at the Illinois Capitol Complex and one of the largest ground-up academic medical centers in the United States.
