Advanced Real Estate Finance, Development, and Management

This course takes up where SES 5204: Real Estate Finance, Development, and Management left off, examining advanced methods for thinking about real estate finance, development, and management, including deal structures, portfolio structuring, asset management, capital markets, and market cycle timing for all major product types including residential, office, retail, and industrial properties. The use of sophisticated financial models for real estate decision-making is an important part of the course. SES 5204: Real Estate Finance, Development, and Management or passing the waiver exam for that course are prerequisites for this course.

Note: Students who took 5275, 5276, or 5246 cannot take this course for credit.
